Mary Bermel has worked in various facets of marketing and sales including web, media, search; product marketing; measurement tracking and analysis; project management; channel marketing; database marketing; promotion; and sales.
Most recently Mary served as Category Development Officer for Yahoo where she focused on delivering advertising solutions to Fortune 500 technology, telecommunications and retail companies, as well as guiding Yahoo’s investment in research, solutions and events for these industries. Previous to Yahoo!, Mary ran interactive and emerging media worldwide for Hewlett Packard. She oversaw online global sponsorships, partnerships and brand positioning efforts. She worked closely with HP’s three largest alliances – Yahoo!, MSN and Google – and chaired HP’s worldwide interactive and search council.
Bermel is a frequent speaker, subject matter expert and regular contributor on the subject of technology and the Web. She was honored as Mediapost’s Online All-Star for 2006 and MIXX marketer of the year in 2006.


Bermel attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada. She resides in Massachusetts with her husband Paul and children Kyle and Madison and new puppy, Oakley rescued from a New Jersey shelter.
Mary enjoys group fitness, running, swimming and dabbling in the kitchen.
